In the Spotlight + Mini Challenge... with Sheri Levitt

Hi! Sheri here and it is my turn to take the spotlight!

Here is a little bit about me. I've been paper crafting for over 20 years. I started in high school. A friend got me hooked on rubber stamping and I never looked back since. I did dabble in scrapbooking but layouts were not my thing. A few years ago I happen to stumble on some youtube videos on crafting, mixed media, and art journaling. I've meet some great people in the online world of crafting. I was on the Viva Las VegaStamps! Design Team from April 2012 - June 2013. It was a dream come true being on that team. I do a little bit of everything, ATCs, postcards, collage, art journaling, altered projects. I'm loving the mixed media and art journaling. To see more of my creations please visit my blog "Shy Crafty Girl".

Now for the Mini Challenge. Its no secret to some that pink is my favorite color! LOL! For this challenge I want everyone to THINK PINK! Also October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. So you can do your project on the color pink or Breast Cancer Awareness, or both!

Here is my page.

I used a page that had some purple craft paint on it from a previous page. I used some pink craft paint. And some rub-ons from my stash. Also some Bubble gum pink and white linen Dylusions sprays and a plastic canvas circle and a large fly swatter. Stamped some flowers from Close to my Heart in black Memento ink pad. I glued down one of my Julie Nutting dolls (LOVE THESE STAMPS!) that I had made before when I first got them. outlined her in black bic pen. Then in my stash of alpha stickers I spelled out think pink.

So all you pink lovers come on out and play along in this week long challenge!

Please join us next Sunday for a brand new Challenge - No. 28.
Have a great week!
